Last updated: 19 August 2026

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, book a consultation or register for the client portal, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and any message or documents you choose to share with us.

As a Chartered Accountancy firm we also receive financial and statutory information necessary to deliver our services — including PAN and Aadhaar details, Form 16, bank statements, invoices, books of account and registration documents. This information is collected only where it is required to perform the engagement you have instructed us on.

Our website collects standard technical data such as browser type, device, approximate location and pages visited, through Firebase Analytics.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare and file returns and statutory forms on your behalf, issue invoices, communicate about the status of your engagement, and meet our own record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal or financial information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Confidentiality and professional obligations

Client information is treated as confidential in accordance with the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and the Code of Ethics issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Information is disclosed to third parties only where you have authorised it, or where disclosure is required by law, a regulator, or a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction.

Data storage and security

Documents and records submitted through our client portal are stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, with access restricted to authorised personnel assigned to your engagement. Access is authenticated, and transfers are encrypted in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We retain engagement records for the period required under the Income Tax Act, 1961, the Companies Act, 2013, GST legislation and applicable professional standards, and for as long as necessary to address any subsequent assessment, audit or dispute.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to the client portal, and to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the client portal may not function correctly without them.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete information we are not required to retain. Write to us at contactus@ksyassociates.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
